We want you to be completely satisfied with your Factor Parts order. If something isn't right, we're here to help. Please review our return policy below before initiating a return.
30-day return window — Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date shown in your shipping confirmation email.
Most new, unused parts in their original packaging are eligible for return. Once a part has been installed or shows signs of use, it is no longer returnable. This policy exists because a used or installed part cannot be resold to another customer and may have been altered in ways that affect safety.
The following items are generally eligible for return within 30 days of delivery:
All returned parts must include the original packaging, all hardware, brackets, and accessories that were included. Parts returned without complete packaging may be subject to additional deductions or rejection.

Returns sent without an RMA number may be delayed or rejected. Do not return parts without first contacting customer service.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected. Please allow:
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a Factor Parts error. If a restocking fee applies, it will be deducted from your refund. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed.
We do not process direct exchanges. If you need a different part, please return the original item following the process above and place a new order for the correct part. This ensures the fastest possible turnaround — new orders typically ship within 1–2 business days.

If you received a part that is defective out of the box, arrived damaged during shipping, or is not the part described on your order confirmation, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will:
Photograph any visible damage before returning — this helps us file carrier claims and improve our packaging. Email photos along with your order number to support@factorparts.com.
Some remanufactured parts (alternators, starters, brake calipers, water pumps, etc.) carry a core charge. This charge is a deposit collected at the time of purchase and is refunded when you return your old ("core") part.
Core charges are listed separately on your order total and will appear as a separate refund line item on your statement.
